Occupy This: Occupy Salt Lake City

I stopped by the Occupy Salt Lake City's site at Library Square yesterday. The rain had just stopped. There were a few dozen tents set up. People were gathered in small groups. Some were seated in lawn chairs outside their tent entrances. The site hosts a library, which is essentially freestanding bookshelves filled with books. I didn't ask, but I'm guessing book and magazine donations are welcome.

You can see from the pictures it is a beautiful site to occupy.

The group doesn't have a permit for an on-site kitchen, yet. According to one protester I spoke to, lasagna, goulash, or any meal that will feed a large group will be gladly accepted.

Let's get cooking!
