artist bio: Victoria Rose Martin is an award winning professional artist residing in Palm Beach County, Florida. She earned a Summa Cum Laude BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration and two separate MFA's in Ceramics and Printmaking. Her work is collected both nationally and internationally and has appeared in Art Doll Quarterly (fall 2011 featured artist), Ceramics Ireland (Issue 38), 500 Handmade Dolls, Ceramics Monthly, and Contemporary Ceramics. Her work is and has been shown nationally and internationally including Laumier Sculpture Park, St. Louis, MO, SDC Gallery, London, England, Florida Craftsman Gallery in St. Petersburg, FL, and the Piedmont Craftsmen, Winston-Salem, NC. Victoria is also the Department Chair for Fine Art and Graphic Design and Professor 1 at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth, Florida. She teaches studio art and web/graphic design courses. Now that summer break is coming to an end in the next couple weeks, I am cleaning house and dejunking, getting rid of anything that just doesn't fit with who we are now.
Once everything is cleared out, my plan is to find a few great signature pieces, combing art with functional art.
These salt and pepper shakers from West Palm Beach-based artist Victoria Rose Martin, are a perfect fit.
